Cambodia requirements

  • Photo size:
    Embassy visa: 35 × 45 mm
    e-Visa (4:5 crop): 40 × 50 mm
  • Background: plain light background (Cambodia publishes no colour requirement — we use white unless you ask otherwise)

Cambodia does not publish a detailed photo specification, so these sizes come from the application routes themselves. Embassy and consulate applications ask for a 35 × 45 mm photo affixed to the form. The e-Visa portal crops every uploaded photo to a 4:5 portrait ratio (equivalent to 40 × 50 mm) and saves it as JPEG — so a 35 × 45 mm or 40 × 60 mm file will be re-cropped and lose height. We supply the e-Visa file already at 4:5 so nothing important is cut off. Sizes differ between missions, so please check your own checklist or send it to us.

Photo tips for the best result

  • Neutral expression, mouth closed, both eyes open and clearly visible
  • Face the camera squarely — no tilting or turning
  • Even lighting on the face, with no shadow falling on the background
  • Stand about half a metre in front of a plain wall, with the camera around 1.5 m away
  • Ask someone else to take it using the rear camera — arm's-length selfies distort the face
  • Send the original file, uncropped and unfiltered

We size, position and adjust the background so the photo meets the specification. We do not retouch faces — several authorities, including ICA Singapore, reject photos whose features have been altered.

Soft copy — edited and emailed back within 1 working day, ready for online applications.

Printed photos — collect from our Chinatown shop, or add delivery at checkout.

If a photo cannot be made compliant we will tell you what to fix and you can send another at no extra charge.

In-store photography is a walk-in service and is not ordered online. Ordering here is for customers who would rather send their own photo, or who cannot come down to the shop.
