A genuine mould-made etching paper with an inkjet coating. German Etching has a pronounced, velvety felt texture and a natural white tone, so paintings and illustrations pick up a hand-printed character that smooth papers cannot give.
The paper
- 100% alpha-cellulose, 310 gsm, about 0.5 mm thick
- Clearly defined felt texture, matte coating
- Natural white
- Acid-free and lignin-free
- ISO 9706 museum quality for the highest ageing resistance
Best for: Oil and acrylic reproductions, pastels, illustrations, textured artwork and limited editions where the paper is part of the piece.
How we print it
Pigment inks rated to last over 100 years, on a 44-inch Epson SureColor with a custom ICC profile made for this exact paper, so what you approve on screen is what comes off the printer. Every print gets a 5 mm white border unless you ask for full bleed, and we check each file before printing.
Sizes and prices
A4 to A0, plus common inch sizes up to 24 x 36 in. Prices are per print, no GST added. Printing an edition of 5 or more? WhatsApp us with the paper, size and quantity and we will quote an edition price. Need another size? Message us with the dimensions.
What to send us
A JPEG, TIFF or PDF at 300 pixels per inch at the final print size, in sRGB or Adobe RGB. After you order, email the file to sales@ktcolour.com.sg or WhatsApp it to 8034 1375 with your order number. Not sure the file is good enough? Send it first and we will tell you the largest size it will print cleanly.
Ready in 2 to 3 working days
Collect at Hong Lim Complex or have it delivered flat in a rigid pack. Delivery is $6, free for orders above $60.
Every paper we print on is Hahnemühle, acid-free and lignin-free, and conforms to ISO 9706 museum quality. Pigment inks are rated to last over 100 years when framed under glass and kept out of direct sun. Each paper has its own custom ICC profile on our printer, so colours are consistent from proof to edition.
After ordering, email your file to sales@ktcolour.com.sg or WhatsApp it to 8034 1375 with your order number. JPEG, TIFF or PDF at 300 ppi at print size, sRGB or Adobe RGB. We check every file and tell you if it will not print cleanly at the size ordered.
