Kodak FunSaver Disposable Camera (39 Exposures, ISO 800)

The Kodak FunSaver is the disposable camera most people picture when they hear the words: yellow body, big flash, wind-and-shoot. It comes pre-loaded with 39 exposures of Kodak ISO 800 colour negative film, so one camera covers a whole wedding, a Bali trip or a week of school holidays. Warm colours, gentle grain, a look that no filter quite copies.

How to use it

1. Turn the thumb wheel until it stops to advance to the next frame.
2. Indoors or after dark, slide the flash switch up and wait for the ready light.
3. Keep at least 1.2 metres from your subject, hold steady, press the shutter. Repeat 39 times.

When the roll is finished

Bring the whole camera back to us at Hong Lim Complex. We take out the film, develop it and scan every frame so you get your photos on your phone, and we can print your favourites as 4R prints or a photobook on the same visit. Details on our film scanning page.

Good to know

• FunSaver vs Power Flash: same camera inside, different box. FunSaver is the US packaging, Power Flash the international one. Pick whichever is in stock.
• Airport scanners: ISO 800 film can fog in CT baggage scanners. Carry it in hand luggage and ask for a hand check if you are travelling.
• Photos look dark? Use the flash indoors, even in a bright room. Disposables have no exposure control, so the flash does the work.
• Shelf life: best used within the date printed on the box. Keep it cool and out of the sun until you shoot.
